The Best Cosplay of PAX East 2011 *Contest CLOSED*

What would a convention be without cosplay. People devoted to recreating their favorite characters in full costume and with amazing attention to detail. Some go for the wow factor, while others keep it simple yet true to the character they are portraying. PAX East is no exception to the rule and we have collected photos of as many cosplayers as we could.
In order to thank these devoted fans we wanted to give something back and thus created a contest for “THE BEST COSPLAY OF PAX EAST”. Not only will we be giving a prize to the winner based on votes, but we will also be giving a prize to a random voter.
- The winner for “Best Cosplay” will receive a prize of their choice; A collector’s edition of Lord of the Rings Online signed by the developers at Turbine or a $50 Amazon gift card.
- The random winner from the voters will receive a prize of their choice; A copy of Super Mario All-Stars: Limited Edition for the Wii or a $20 Amazon gift card.
Photos are numbered for reference so that it will make things easier when tallying up the counts. Also, feel free to include your comments with your vote so that these guys and gals can know how you really feel.
To all those that got your picture taken by me, thank you for letting me take a bit of your time and hopefully my cellphone quality shots don’t look like complete crap to you.

- You must reside within the United States to enter (sorry but international shipping is expensive)
- Only one vote per person (you can definitely tell your friends to vote for you though)
- Vote for your favorite by writing the picture number along with your comment below
- The cosplayer with the most votes will be contacted via their e-mail recieved at PAX East
- The random chosen voter (chosen through random.org) will be contacted via their registered e-mail

I vote for #7! That costume is clearly handmade, and although it may not be difficult, so many people buy easy costumes! Not only is the costume accurate to small details (you can’t see it in the picture, but I saw this cosplayer and she even had Yuna’s hair attachment!), look at how much the girl looks like Yuna!
